Client: Fresh Spa Market
Agency: Baseline Creative
Logo Design: Josiah Zimmerman
We got a chance to redesign Fresh Spa’s line of in-house body products, under the name Namaste. It was a fun opportunity to use a lot of color to give the packaging a natural and vivid feeling
Client: Kansas Humane Society
Agency: Jajo
I got to design the 2019 poster and theme art for Woofstock, a local annual charity event to help get pets adopted. The theme for that year was an outdoor music festival, utilizing the vibrant fall colors and after working with the client to explore a few different options, this was the final art we landed on.
Client: Sperra Studios
Agency: Baseline Creative
I got to both design and build a portfolio site for a local VFX company that has worked on a lot of big budget films. The movie nerd in me was kind of freaking out during this entire project. If you want to see the site itself, check it out.
Client: Heartland Dermatology
Agency: Baseline Creative
Videographer: Hannah Nighswonger
We partnered with Heartland Dermatology to create several videos to use as promotion on both social media and as tv spot ads. Hannah and I worked together to shoot video and interviews of Heartland’s staff and their locations and then I edited and combined all the footage and ads into several different videos to best represent Heartlands staff and culture.
Client: Koop Law Firm
Agency: Baseline Creative
I got to design the logo for a local lawyer, as well as design & build his website. He specializes in criminal law in the Flint Hills, KS area and wanted a logo that felt like a Midwest seal, while also conveying a source of strength for his clients, who are usually going through one of the most stressful points of their life when they come to him. He wanted to be the mountain on the horizon that can be the shelter in the storm for his clients. We then expanded upon those themes and design elements to create the website. You can can see the finished site here.
A collection of various animations I’ve done for over the years, mostly for social media posts.
Client: JonTin
Agency: Freelance
I got to design this cover and logo for JonTin's new album. It's got a chill electronic vibe and the patterns and repetition of the music kind of reminded me how the northern lights "dance". So I tired combing some of the glow and texture of nature with more vector and electronic shapes.
Also, you should check out the album too, if that's your sort of thing. It's pretty good.
Client: Textron Aviation
Agency: Jajo
Here are some highlights from a series of videos I got to make as part of Textron’s new Customer Portal.
Textron launched a new feature on their site that streamlines all your aircraft maintenance needs into one location. These video served as an overview and tutorial for customers to easily understand what this new feature could do and how to use it.
A variety of t-shirts I’ve designed for various clients over the years.
Client: The Monarch
Agency: Baseline Creative
Art Director: Hannah Nighswonger
After working with The Monarch to redesign their site, we interviewed owner Jennifer Ray, about her restaurant, philosophy, and experience working with us. Hannah, who redesigned the site, oversaw the interview and photoshoot. My role was to shoot B-roll footage of the space, and then edit together the clips with a flow and pacing to create an easily understandable video, that best represented our partnership with The Monarch.
Client: Cox Business
Agency: Jajo
Cox Business came to Jajo with a superhero based theme named "Know No Limits” with the goal of empowering their employees to reach new heights in 2018. They had already picked a series of superhero quotes that embodied this idea and now they need some visual branding for the event.
As a result, I got to illustrate some of the most iconic superheroes from the comic books I grew up reading. If 10-year-old me could see me now…
Client: Textron Aviation
Agency: Jajo
Art Director: Eric Andreae
The client approached us about making a sign-in stand for their service centers. So I got to design a stand to house a sign-in iPad, items from the gift shop, and literature materials.
Turns out being a graphic designer can sometime also mean furniture design. Who knew?
Client: Hite, Fanning, & Honeyman
Agency: Pop Machine Agency
I got to both design and build a site for a local law firm. It was a nice experiment in using color and a minimalist layout style to convey a more dignified feel for a very experienced client. If you want to see the site itself, check it out.
Client: Textron Aviation
Art Director and Campaign Design:
Mike Gangwere
Textron was holding a job fair as part of a recruitment push and asked us to create an ad campaign to promote this event.
Mike branded the looks of the campaign and I was tasked with coming up with the following video ad.
A collection of photoshop work I got to practice and develop over the years.
Client: Textron Aviation
Campaign Design: Aubrie Lockamy
As part of Textron Aviation’s Wings for Dreams charity event, I got to make this video announcing that Thomas Rhett would be the entertainment for the evening.
Client: Textron Aviation
Agency: Jajo
I got to do a lot of different kinds of print work for Textron Aviation. Mailers, invites, banner graphics, brochures, handouts, etc. So here’s a collection of some of the stuff I made with them.
Client: City of Hays
While finishing school, I got the chance to do a little intern work for the City of Hays. Here is a collection of some of the stuff I created in my time there.
A collection of various illustrations I’ve done over the years, some for clients, some just for fun.
I was killing time between projects one day and started absent-mindedly doodling on Jajo’s business cards. I guess it kind of became a thing and I ended up doing a whole bunch of them around the office.
I dabble with D&D in my free time and I enjoy making all the art for it. It’s super nerdy and I love it!
